Faculty Profile

Dr. Rabia Altaf is currently working as Associate Professor and Program Head M.Phil Pharmacology in the School of Pharmacy, UMT. She has completed Bachelors in Pharmacy degree from the College of Pharmacy, University of the Punjab Lahore in 2005 and Masters of Philosophy in Pharmacology from the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore in 2010. In 2011, she moved to Malaysia to pursue doctoral studies from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) that is one of the top ranked Malaysian Universities. She completed her PhD in Pharmacology from USM in 2015 that was funded by USM Fellowship Scheme. Dr. Rabia is HEC approved PhD supervisor with an experience of almost 17 years in academics. She has served as lecturer, assistant professor, associate professor, acting dean in multiple institutes and universities in Pakistan throughout her career.
