Educational visit of School of Pharmacy students to Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre.

Worthy SPH recipients of Rector Awards 2025.

SPH students visited Bashir Medical Complex, Hafizabad, for a medical camp under the CPS Project. Students conducted health assessments including blood pressure measurement, body temperature checks, BMI calculation, diabetes testing, and blood group testing. They also provided awareness sessions on personal hygiene for the local community.

A seminar on FIPV was conducted at the UMT School of Pharmacy to raise awareness among university students and medical professionals about its role in strengthening immunity and supporting Pakistan’s journey toward a polio-free future.

The UMT School of Pharmacy proudly hosted its Orientation Ceremony for Batch 2025, marking the beginning of a transformative academic journey. The event introduced students to UMT’s learning environment, state-of-the-art laboratories, and a culture rooted in innovation, ethics, and professional excellence, while also celebrating World Pharmacist Day.

Faculty member and Lab In-charge Dr. Amber Sharif performed dosing on a new rat model, enhancing SPH’s research capabilities and contributing to advanced student learning.

UMT School of Pharmacy hosted the Head of Business from Evercare Hospital to explore potential collaboration in education and clinical practice. The meeting focused on academic partnerships, professional training, and impactful joint initiatives.

A delegation from the Faculty of Pharmacy, UVAS, led by Dr. Tahir Khan, visited SPH to discuss the implementation of the new Pharm.D curriculum, focusing on academic enhancement and collaborative learning outcomes.

Inauguration of State-of-the-art Cell Culture Lab UMT School of Pharmacy, proudly announces another remarkable step forward in pharmaceutical research: the inauguration of its state-of-the-art Cell Culture Lab.

The School of Pharmacy, UMT, in collaboration with Sundas Foundation, is organizing a Blood Camp for children suffering from Thalassemia, Hemophilia, Leukemia, and other chronic blood diseases.

Visit to Indus Hospital Students from the School of Pharmacy, accompanied by the Dean and faculty members, visited Indus Hospital for an educational and insightful experience.
The visit provided students with a valuable opportunity to observe hospital pharmacy operations, interact with healthcare professionals, and deepen their understanding of patient-centered care in a real-world clinical setting.

The event warmly welcomed the incoming batch of pharmacy students, fostering a sense of community and belonging. During the Oath Taking Ceremony, students pledged to uphold the ethical standards and responsibilities of the pharmacy profession, marking a significant milestone in their academic journey. The Dean Merit Awards proudly honored outstanding students for their exceptional academic achievements, inspiring peers
to strive for excellence. Overall, the event reflected the spirit of growth, dedication, and unity within SPH UMT.

The Evercare Internship Graduation Ceremony was a proud and inspiring event that marked the successful completion of the internship program for pharmacy students. Hosted in collaboration with Evercare Hospital, the ceremony celebrated the hard work, dedication, and professional growth of the interns who gained valuable hands-on experience in a real clinical setting.
