As per the UMT’s charter and in line with the requirements of Pharmacy Council of Pakistan, the School of Pharmacy is headed by the Dean who holds the rank of a Professor. The Dean holds a basic degree in Pharmacy, is a registered Pharmacist with Punjab Pharmacy Council as well as General Pharmaceutical Council UK and is appointed by the Board of Governors on the recommendations of the Rector. The Dean shall hold the office for a period of three years and shall be eligible for reappointment. The Dean shall hold the overall academic and administrative responsibility and shall have such powers and duties as may be prescribed by the Board of Governors on the recommendations of the Rector. The Dean shall report to the Rector. The faculty and COD (appointment in process) shall report to the Dean.
As per regulations of Pharmacy Council of Pakistan, School of Pharmacy will be comprising of following Five departments which would work under one Faculty for academic purpose. These departments will be notified at a later stage at the time of launch of postgraduate programs These departments will not work as separate administrative setup.
