Faculty Profile

Dr. Iram Shahzadi completed her PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the Punjab University College of Pharmacy, University of the Punjab, in 2024. She previously completed her MPhil in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from same institute in 2019, where she was awarded with University Gold Medal. Dr. Shahzadi has been internationally recognized among the top 2% Scientist for year 2024 by Stanford University and Elsevier. Her research primarily focuses on drug discovery, particularly in synthesis and functionalization of nanocomposites, phytochemistry, computational studies (including molecular docking, DFT), and in-vitro biological evaluations. Dr. Shahzadi has authored more than 65 full-length research articles in indexed, peer-reviewed journals and an international book.
